FAMOUS PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT AGAINST ALL ODDS AND BECAME SUCCESSFUL

Famous people who failed before success

succeeded against all odds1 – Marilyn Monroe had a rough upbringing and was placed in several foster homes growing up. Later she was considered a failed model with little hopes for success. Her modeling agents told her she would never make it as a model, and that she should consider being a secretary. Despite being told she was a failure most her life she went on to pursue her dreams and became a national success. Marilyn Monroe’s character as a dumb blonde was an act, that overshadowed her real beauty inside.
She was a diamond in the rough. Underneath all the glamor was a little orphan girl who was lonely, smart, and full of life, that wanted to express who she really was under the makeup. In the end was a tragic death of a women who succeeded against all odds, and needed something money can’t buy. She needed to be loved for who she really was.
Someone said to me, If fifty percent of the experts in Hollywood said you had no talent and should give up, what would you do? My answer was then and still is, If a hundred percent told me that, all one hundred percent would be wrong”.Marilyn Monroe.

succeeded against all odds2 – Harrison Ford was a carpenter for 12 years, and was told by movie executives that he didn’t have what it takes to become a movie star. Ford followed his intuition against all odds, and became one of Hollywood’s top paid stars with many classic hits, such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Han Solo, The Fugitive,Air Force One, What Lies Beneath, Clear and Present Danger, and many others. Harrison ford was determined to become a great actor despite his critics, and  continued to prove them wrong with an extraordinary successful acting career that has stretched for more than two decades.

3- Steve Jobs founder of Apple, changed the world with new technologies, from the Mac computer, to the iPad, iPhone, and iPod to name a few. At 19 Steve Jobs, and his friend Dan Kottke (Who later became Steve Jobs first employee at Apple Inc)  dropped out of Reed College in Portland Oregon to backpack in India, and find Philosophical Enlightenment
This was no doubt a stage in his life, but years later Jobs said that trip taught him the power of intuition, and that it made a big impact on his work. Steve Jobs was a visionary perfectionist, with a driven personality that caused a lot of people to turn on him in his early years. At age 30, he was fired from Apple Inc, the company he built from the ground up, leaving him humiliated, depressed, and unemployed.  After 11 years Apple was almost bankrupt, while Microsoft was flying off the shelves. Apple was desperate and asked Steve if he would consider coming back. He took up the offer, and made Apple one of the most successful innovative companies in the world. Steve Jobs legacy will live on as a great visionary pioneer, who changed the world with new gadgets and technologies that made life a little easier. He took his greatest failures and turned them into his greatest success. He succeeded against all odds despite many challenges. At the end of the day he was underestimated, and established himself as one of the greatest entrepreneurs of all time.
